Si una carta de Yugioh está en la lista de prohibición, eso significa que está prohibida, limitada o semilimitada. No puedes jugar cartas Prohibidas, solo puedes tener una copia de una carta Limitada en tus mazos de Yugioh y solo puedes ejecutar dos copias de una carta Semi-Limitada.
Hay dos listas de prohibición de Yugioh, una para el formato avanzado y otra para el formato tradicional. Las listas de prohibición contienen todas las mismas tarjetas, pero las tarjetas que están prohibidas en formato avanzado (es decir, totalmente prohibidas) están limitadas en formato tradicional: puedes tomar una copia de la tarjeta.
